I received a call from Amanda’s brother-in-law about 2 rings she lost in the sand at the beach in Margate NJ. Amanda told me that she put the rings in the side pocket of her beach chair. She forgot the rings were there when she moved her chair farther back when the tide came in. A few minutes after taking a walk she remembered her rings were in the chair. So she quickly went back to get them and discovered that they were not there. She and other beachgoers tried to find her engagement ring and the her wedding band. Which was originally her mother’s, without success.
We met up in the early morning at the location she had been in the day before, and I thoroughly searched a grid pattern from the water’s edge up to the rear of the beach. Approximately an hour and half after searching, both rings were found! Amanda and Willie were able to finish their Memorial Day weekend on a happy and joyous note!
