Maryann texted me in a panic, asking if I could help find her husband Steve’s lost wedding ring on the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ. He had removed the ring to apply sunscreen and put it in his pocket. When he went to put it back on, it had vanished. After a quick conversation with Maryanne, I was on my way, arriving just 30 minutes later. I moved one of their chairs and began my search with my metal detector. After just a few swings, the machine buzzed. There, buried in the sand, was the lost wedding band!
