Losing a wedding band at the beach can feel like a nightmare but that’s exactly what happened to Courtney and her husband during a sunny day in Cape May, NJ. Thankfully, I was able to help recover it!
Courtney gave me a call from the beach in Cape May, New Jersey, explaining that her husband had lost his wedding band in the sand. He had taken the ring off to apply sunscreen, temporarily putting it in his pocket. Unfortunately, the pocket had a hole, and the wedding ring slipped into the sand without them noticing. After searching for a while with no luck, Courtney contacted me at Ring Finders South Jersey.
I jumped in the car and headed over to Cape May. Once I arrived, Courtney’s husband showed me the spot on the beach where they had been sitting. I fired up my metal detector and started sweeping the area carefully. It didn’t take long—after just a few signals, my detector let out a tone that told me I had found something important.
Sure enough, just a few inches beneath the surface, there it was—his lost wedding band! The relief and excitement on their faces made the search all the more rewarding. Helping people like Courtney and her husband is why I love being a part of Ring Finders South Jersey.
